This graduate level course covers the history and scope of epidemiology and applications of epidemiology, measurement of morbidity and mortality, descriptive epidemiology, data sources used in epidemiology, epidemiology study designs, experimental study designs, measuring and interpreting data, screening disease in the community, infectious diseases, work and environment, as well as various epidemiology practices and their implications in public health.
